Beach Sprints is officially in the Olympics!

The Premier Rowing League has a 4 year plan to lead up to the 2028 games in Los Angeles.

2023 - Miami Beach, Atlantic City, Milwaukee, Los Angeles, and Sarasota

Simple Format

Course – The course doesn’t change, just the conditions.

• Same course at every location.

• 50m foot race from starting line to waters edge.
• 250m straight out, around buoy, 250m straight sprint back.
• 50m foot race from water to finish line.

Race format

• Time trial for seeding
• Elimination Bracket – Win and Advance.

Events -

• Men’s 1x
• Women’s 1x
• Mixed 2x

Equipment - Show up and race.

• Boats and Oars are provided by manufactures at each location.
• Athletes are welcome to bring their own boats.
